Founder & Interim PresidentSiphephile Cyprian Mahlaba+
President Siphephile Cyprian Mahlaba was born and raised in the Umkhanyakude District under the Jozini Local Municipality in KwaZulu-Natal. From a young age he became active in community development and youth activism, building a strong grounding in grassroots organisation and public service.
His professional background includes business experience in the construction and civil engineering sector, alongside a political journey that has included leadership roles at branch, regional and provincial level across several political organisations.
As Founder and Interim President of African Renaissance Unity, he provides strategic leadership to the organisation’s work on African unity, economic transformation, youth development, traditional leadership and accountable, service-oriented governance.
